The Art of Teaching Writing

This two-session seminar offers an engaging introduction to the craft of teaching writing. Whether you’re interested in leading workshops at a community center, teaching at a writers’ organization like The Muse, or stepping into a college classroom for the first time, this course will provide practical, student-centered strategies to help you succeed. Drawing on nearly two decades of college-level teaching experience, the instructor will share tools, techniques, and real-world insights to help you design lessons, foster inclusive classroom environments, and inspire writers at all levels. Ideal for writers curious about teaching or educators looking to refresh their approach.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection.
