Submitting to Residencies

The last two years I have interacted with many writers who have asked about my experiences with artists’ residencies. From curiosity to serious potential applicants, I noticed a trend in these encounters; physical tools were never exchanged. By creating this seminar, I hope to help other writers figure out if residencies are for them, how to research, and how to apply.

The seminar will cover the following topics:

> Introduction to Residencies
> Research Resources
> Application Process
> Artist Statement/Project Proposals
> Any other Questions/Concerns

Please note: This class is an online class. To participate, students must have a stable internet connection and a computer or device with a webcam and microphone.
Teacher: Amanda Huynh
Prerequisite:

Open to all writers with work and are interested in pursuing residencies.
