Speculative Fiction Studio

This studio workshop will focus on the elements that make great science fiction, fantasy, or horror stories. By reading and examining each others’ work, we will consider questions that are of concern to speculative fiction writers in particular, such as fully incorporating speculative elements into a story or creating a world with an internal logic that’s different from our own. Work will be submitted in advance of each session. Students are welcome to submit short stories and novel excerpts. New students must receive pre-approval to register from the teacher.

You need permission from the instructor to register for this class. Please complete this form and have a small sample of your work to submit.
