Songs of the Season: A Winter Songwriting Exploration

Cozy up to the warm glow of your laptop for a chilly stroll through the wonderful world of holiday songwriting. In this secular class, we’ll take a look at the lyrical and musical components that tend to give those beloved wintry classics that classic wintry feel. Whether you want to write about a specific holiday tradition in your family or the overall scarf draped, red cheeked joys of a snowy December morning, you’ll get all the inspiration you need to fully form a song over the span of the afternoon. A basic understanding of songwriting (or completing Songwriting 1) is recommended as a pre-requisite for this workshop.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register. Check your spam box if you don't see it.

The MuseTeacher: Skye Zentz
