Shannon Curtin Book Launch
Join The Muse Writers Center for a reading by Shannon Curtin from her new novel, Stay Center. After the reading, there will be a Q&A and book signing. This event will be held in person at The Muse and copies of the book will be available for purchase.
About the book:
Stay Center tells the exciting tale of what was supposed
to be 16-year-old competitive shooter Paige Race’s
redemption year. With her best friend and teammate
Savannah (Van) by her side, Paige has her sights set on
the league title. But when transfer superstar Keith
Nicholson beats out Van for a place on the team, Paige’s
plans are shot to hell.
The once effortless friendship between Paige and Van
becomes strained without the team to tie them
together, and worst of all, the more time Paige spends
with her former rival, the less loathsome she finds him.
In this debut young adult book competitive shooting
provides a unique sports background to this story about
the universal teenage experience of outgrowing
friendships and growing into yourself.
