Screenwriting 2: Getting Your Script on Its Feet

You’ve taken Screenwriting 1 and now you’re ready to test the waters with your own writing or get feedback on scripts you’ve been working on already. This course is designed as both a Workshop with group review and discussion as well as a continuation of learning screenwriting principles. We will discuss intermediate-level techniques and formatting, watch films and clips, read professional scripts and critique each other’s work in a spirit of encouragement and camaraderie. Feature films, TV pilots, shorts, treatments and synopses are all welcome. This class is open to continuing members as well as students who have either taken Screenwriting 1, completed a first draft, or who have an outline/treatment of a complete story.
