Pick Your Passion! Creative Expression Class @ Hampton Public Library
The Muse Writers Center and Hampton Library are partnering to bring a new youth class to Hampton Road’s youth, Pick Your Passion: an in-person, prompt-based class for students ages 10 to 14.
We believe that every child has a story to write. They just need some inspiration and motivation! During Pick Your Passion, a talented Muse teacher will lead children through an easy, fun, and creative workshop full of writing/artistic prompts and creative sharing. Students can write stories, poetry, create comics, sketches, and other arts & crafts based on these prompts. This class encourages peer review, collaboration, and project creation.
Hampton Public Library will provide artistic supplies and after-school snacks! Perfect for Hampton City Schools students or homeschooled students. This class will take place on the first Monday of every month. The first three classes are scheduled for 12/2/2024, 1/6/2025, 2/3/2025.
