Patchwork Party at Slover Library
Grab your Crayolas and Moleskines for an afternoon of fun!
Brought to you by the Slover Library and The Muse Writers Center.
In our modern world of social media and rapid sharing, it’s hard to avoid imposter syndrome and the feeling that our art is only valid once it’s been “liked” and commented on by the public. At Patchwork Party, we invite you to grab some simple art supplies, headphones, and notebook and give your internal and external critics the day off as we engage the spontaneous side of our creativity. Using music, visual art and written prompts, you’ll have three different opportunities to make something unique and original, and share it with the group if you’d like. In this safe, expectation-free space, you might even stumble across some fresh new inspiration.
