Pamela Brothers Denyes Book Launch and Q&A
Join The Muse Writers Center for a triple-threat book launch, with a reading by Pamela Brothers Denyes from her three latest poetry collections: The Right Mistakes, The Widow’s Lovers, and As I Lay Dreaming. After the reading, there will be a Q&A and book signing. This event will be held in person at The Muse. See the Muse’s current Covid-19 policies.
About the Author:
Pamela’s poems are published in various Virginia journals, Wingless Dreamer, Vallum, Barstow & Grand V, MindFull Magazine, and in several volumes of international collections published by The Poet Magazine. Her chapbook, “Renewal,” upon which this collection is based, received an Honorable Mention in a 2020 National Poetry Writing Month Contest. In 2019 Pamela won the Hampton Roads Writers Conference Poetry Contest with her poem “Mrs. Creekmore’s May Peas,” about the mass shooting in Virginia Beach.
Pamela’s career-based writing included contract nonfiction, instructional design and manuals, developmental and copy editing, and online/print writing for her regional newspaper and internet gateway. She is also a musician and singer, and has worked professionally in that arena, too. A mother and grandmother, Pamela resides in eastern Virginia but travels all she can.
