Organizing for Creative People

Getting organized as a creative person requires us to think in nontraditional ways. There’s no one person exactly like you, so why should your organizational methods be a cookie-cutter catch-all? In this class you will learn how to assess your current organizing system & build a framework for getting AND staying organized. This framework includes: understanding personal energy levels, time-blocking, mental obstacles behind successful habit formation, and triggers to behaviors/patterns that have prevented you from remaining organized in the past. Each student will walk away with an action plan for creating a personal organizing framework and decide on specific tools to use going forward. Class information and guidance comes from a nonprofit manager who has managed 4,000 people at a time and assisted hundreds of creatives find methods that work best for them.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
