My You’re Short: A seminar on the pleasures and pains of crafting short fiction

In this seminar, we will learn how to craft an exhilarating, thought-provoking, and timeless short story. By exploring the possibilities and constraints of the form, we’ll work through beginning, endings, and everything in between. Finally, we’ll examine a published short story to learn how an author crafts a unique voice in just a few pages.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register. Check your spam box if you don't see it.

The MuseTeacher: Patrick Dacey
