Making Memory into Story
For nonfiction and fiction writers alike, our work often pulls from our memories. How do we recreate the sense of a moment despite not remembering every detail? In this seminar, we will discover how to recreate how someone speaks without being able to recall every word of their actual dialogue, or write a story that’s true to the spirit of an event even though the author can’t directly recall everything that happened.
