Let Comedy Be Your Writing Accountability Partner
Laughter is the best medicine—and it might be the best cure for writer’s block. In this single session workshop, we’ll watch hilarious sketches from Monty Python’s Flying Circus and Mr. Show with Bob and David, laugh-out-loud scenes from sitcoms like Friends, The Office, and Parks and Rec, and experience the razor-sharp timing of stand-up comedians like Nate Bargatze, John Mulaney, and the late, great Mitch Hedberg. Then you’ll write, inspired by what you’ve just watched—the rhythm, the timing, the setup and payoff, the absurdity that makes us laugh.
