How to Write in the Voice of the Opposite Sex

Emotions are not gender specific. We all have them. It just takes a little work (okay, a LOT), to get into the head of the opposite sex. In this session, we’ll explore techniques for how it can be done. But the emphasis of this class goes beyond gender. The goal is also to learn ways to follow one’s curiosity about people of other races, ages, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds with an eye on creating interesting and varied characters.

Please note: This class is an online class. To participate, students must have a stable internet connection with a computer or device with a webcam and microphone.

The MuseTeacher: John DeDakis
