How to Write Comics & Graphic Novels (for Artists)

Comics are a magical blend of visuals and writing. Come explore this incredible medium of storytelling through sequential art! This introductory class will cover scripting, thumbnailing and layout, all the way to character design and getting your work into the world. Our sessions will comprise of fun exercises and lecture, along with some case studies and games to mix it up. Artists are encouraged to sign up as the class will feature a heavy drawing aspect. Excited? So are we. Let’s make some comics! 

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
