CANCELLED Hive Writing
Hive Writing is a creative writing class that transforms the solitary act of writing into a collective experiment in consciousness. Inspired by the concept of the “hive mind,” participants come together to generate a multivocal group text that reflects the shared imagination of the group. Through collaborative prompts, improvisational exercises, and dynamic exchange, individual voices interweave into a living chorus of perspectives, rhythms, and styles. The creative process highlights how writing can emerge from connection rather than isolation. The resulting piece will be both many and one: a co-authored work greater than the sum of its parts.
Please note: This class or event is hybrid. Some attendees will be in-person and some will attend online. There may be a limited number of in-person seats available. If you are participating online (using Zoom or a similar live platform), students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
