Growing Organic Characters

Tired of filling out those biographical forms on your characters, just to find yourself with a list of ho-hum details that don’t create anything exciting? Maybe you’re asking your characters the wrong questions. Characters don’t pop full-blown from a writer’s imagination. They begin with a spark, a hint of something intriguing–just the right thing to grab a reader and a publisher… until they get buried under a mound of irrelevant details. In this seminar, you will learn what questions to ask yourself (and your characters) to make them truly come alive.

Please note: This class is an online class. To participate, students must have a stable internet connection with a computer or device with a webcam and microphone.
