Fantastical Worlds: A Writing Group for Speculative Fiction
Speculative fiction is an umbrella genre of fiction that encompasses all the subgenres that depart from realism, or strictly imitating everyday reality, instead presenting fantastical, supernatural, futuristic, or other imaginative realms.
Does this describe your writing? If so, come join us for our monthly speculative fiction writers gathering! A unique blend of craft talk, brain storming, and camaraderie.
This is a chance to get together with not just other writers but with speculative writers –those of us who revel in wardrobe doors and rabbit holes, who would rather work on inventing a language than learning French, who long for something this world doesn’t offer.
Come on in, the water’s warm and the fairies are friendly!
This is an IN-PERSON club and meets on the first Saturday of each month from 4-6pm.
