From Concept to Storyboard: Writing Children’s Books
Do you have an idea for a children’s book but don’t know where to start? Or did you start a children’s book and get stuck along the way? Drawing on her experience as an agented and traditionally-published children’s book author, the instructor will offer advice on coming up with a concept for a children’s book, writing a logline, and using notecards to storyboard beats. Students will have a chance to share and give feedback on each other’s ideas. They will leave this workshop with a solid plan to start drafting a children’s book.
