In this class we will read published horror pieces under 1,000 words, using them as starting points to discuss important aspects of short horror, including tension, how much to show on paper, and how to give just enough shivers with very few words. We will also have time to write our own horror pieces in class and share them (if wanted) for gentle feedback.
