Finding Your Voice (Single Session)

This introductory, exploratory workshop is designed for writers who want to develop their voice, hone their craft, and elevate their prose. We’ll start with in-depth discussion of what voice is and why it’s so important in successful writing. Next, we’ll review a variety of successful examples to understand what works and how writers can incorporate this into their own craft. Then, we’ll complete freewriting activities to explore how we can develop voice in our own writing. This class is open to writers of all genres.

Please note: This class or event will be held online (using Zoom or a similar live platform). To participate, students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register.
