The Muse Middle School Creative Writing Summer Camp is a great opportunity for middle school aged creative writers to have fun with words–both out loud and on paper. During each day of this afternoon camp, we’ll explore a different type of creative writing and expression.

We’ll try our hands at poetry, sharing what we like and writing short poems together.

We’ll have a chance to write what we think about ourselves and the world around us and make up new stories by exploring fiction.

We’ll bring our stories to life by writing and illustrating comic books.

We’ll make music together by learning the art of song writing.

Come learn to express yourself in a guided, friendly, and supportive environment! Open to middle school writers (generally ages 11-13) of all levels and experience.

Please Note:

This is a five session, Monday through Friday Summer camp. Light snacks and supplies will be provided.

All students under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to participate. At check out a parent or legal guardian will be required to complete our Conduct, Waiver and Release Agreements. You can review these agreements here.
