Creative Writing Summer Camp: Elementary School (ages 8-10)

The Muse Elementary School Summer Camp is a great opportunity for young creative writers to have fun with words–both out loud and on paper. During each day of this afternoon camp, we’ll explore a different type of creative writing and expression.

We’ll try our hands at poetry, sharing what we like and writing short poems together.

We’ll have a chance to write what we think about ourselves and the world around us and make up new stories by exploring fiction.

We’ll bring our stories to life by writing and illustrating comic books.

We’ll make music together by learning the art of song writing.

Finally, we’ll have a chance to polish the genre we enjoyed the most during the week, and then share it with our friends and family during the last hour of the camp at 11 a.m. on Friday

Come learn to express yourself in a guided, friendly, and supportive environment! Open to elementary school writers (ages 8-10) of all levels and experience.
