Broken Bindings: Writing About Estrangement “
It can be so difficult to write about the relationships we’ve lost, whether those are relationships with friends, romantic partners, family members, of even places we once loved. In this workshop, we will talk about how we can write about “grieving the living” in moving and truthful ways, without pretense or apology. Diane Zinna, author of the new book, Letting Grief Speak: Writing Portals for Life After Loss, will offer fresh writing prompts that are especially helpful for writing about this special kind of grief.
