Begin, See, See Again: A Poetry Workshop on Revision

Please Note: Tim is in South Africa for the funeral of a dear friend, so the first class meeting will be on Zoom only. The remaining three classes will be hybrid (you can come in-person or on Zoom).

Revision may be the most demanding aspect of being a writer, but it need not be drudgery. In fact, reworking poems should be as focused on discovery and development as it is on cutting and correcting. With a blueprint that I will pass out at the start, each student will take one (or two) of his/her/their original poems through several stages of re-seeing that will promote a more inspired and creative approach to revision.

Please note: This class or event is hybrid. Some attendees will be in-person and some will attend online. There may be a limited number of in-person seats available. If you are participating online (using Zoom or a similar live platform), students or attendees should have a stable internet connection. Class participants: you should have a computer or device with a webcam and microphone; and your Zoom link will be automatically sent to you after you register. Check your spam box if you don't see it.
