Autobiography of Metaphor
In this workshop, we’ll explore how the idiosyncratic or individual way that we see something informs the figures and metaphors that we use in our images. We will start with a foundational essay by Ocean Vuong that talks about the DNA of seeing. Each week we will discuss poems and excerpts of prose by others, enjoy a writing prompt, and share what we’ve written for brief feedback.
