Celebrate National Poetry Month with The Muse’s Teaching Artists

April is National Poetry Month, a time to honor the power of words and the voices that bring them to life. At The Muse Writers Center, we believe poetry is an experience, a craft, and a conversation.

Join us for the Muse Teacher Poetry Showcase, an evening featuring the incredible teaching artists who lead our poetry workshops. Each instructor will share selections of their original work, offering a glimpse into their creative process and the unique perspectives they bring to their classes.

Jorge Mendez – Poet, spoken word artist, and founder of Poet Fest 757.

Tom Yuill – Author of Medicine Show, known for his poetic intersections of music and literature.

Gabriela A. Igloria – An award-winning Filipino American poet exploring diaspora, heritage, and ecopoetics.
